Durable & Stylish Sunglasses
Based in Singapore, Barrett & Bloom was founded in 2022 by two Optometrists. Living in a climate like Singapore, somewhere that is summer all year round, we realised the locals aren’t wearing sunglasses enough.
UV rays can cause various eye conditions, such as cataracts, macular degeneration and even skin cancer around the eyelids.
The abundance of sunlight that contains UV rays damage our eyes in the long run.
How we started?
It all begins with a simple idea.. what if we create fashionable and affordable UV-protected sunglasses for everyone?
For something as common as sunscreen and sun umbrellas, we realised that sunglasses remain needlessly expensive in Singapore.
Sunglasses do not need to be expensive to protect the eyes, we believe in both good quality and affordable pricing can come in pairs. After realising there was something we could do, and so, Barrett & Bloom was born.
